The motto at the top of our homepage – Learning. Discovery. Enterprise – is a declaration of our main priorities: teaching excellence, internationally distinguished research and scholarship, and effective knowledge transfer. Bristol's track record in all three accounts for its position in the first rank of UK universities and its excellent reputation in the rest of Europe and the wider world.
