Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need, to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US dollars or your own currency.

You will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This is to indicate that we have received your order, but does not indicate that a contract exists between us. Acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, will be indicated when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Medscope terms of delivery:

Medscope will dispatch your goods within 1 business day.

- If you order before 1-30pm on any business day, your goods will be dispatched (leave our warehouse) on that same day.
- If you order after 1-30pm on any business day, your goods will be dispatched on the next business day.
- If you order after 1-30pm on a Friday, or during the weekend, your goods will be dispatched on the following Monday.

Business days are defined as any weekday (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) excluding public or bank holidays.

We send all orders by Royal Mail First Class Recorded post. This means that you will usually receive your goods within 3 business days of dispatch (normally sooner). Please note that, in the majority of areas, Royal Mail does not deliver recorded items at weekends.

A signature is required for all parcels. If there is nobody present to sign for the parcel, a card will be left, allowing the receiver to either arrange a re-delivery, or to go and collect the parcel from their local Royal Mail delivery office.

The Royal Mail target time for international delivery is within three working days to Western Europe, four working days to Eastern Europe and five working days for the rest of the world.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy Medscope does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Return of item/s within 14 days
Any item may be returned to Medscope within 14 days of receipt, for a full refund. The item/s must be returned in the condition in which they were received, complete with all manufacturer packaging and parts. Please ensure that the item is well padded and protected, if it is posted back. Any item/s received back in an unsatisfactory condition because of poor packaging will be subject to a £10 administration fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return of item/s after 14 days
In certain exceptional circumstances, Medscope will take an item back after 14 days for a refund, as long as it is in the condition in which it was received, complete with all manufacturer packaging and parts. These items will be subject to an administration fee of £10.

Faulty Item
If an item is received faulty, or develops a fault within the first 12 months of use because of a manufacturing error, the item will either be repaired or replaced, free of charge.

Faults that are an obvious result of misuse, abuse or a failure to follow the instructions are outside the terms of this guarantee. The item may not be replaced in these circumstances.

After 12 months have lapsed, the terms of the manufacturer guarantee will apply.
