The cream is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. It also resists wash-off, preventing the need for frequent and disruptive re-applications.Applying 3M Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream will not decrease the adhesion of dressings or tapes. It can be used in conjunction with moisture retentive adhesive dressings that promote healing, such as transparent films and hydrocolloids.
