The new Alto is a completely new concept, conceived by Spencer, in the realm of equipment for use in transport and transferrals of patients between hospitals.
It has been developed to meet with the ever increasing demand for a stretcher that can automatically raise the patient up to one metre in height.
The system continually verifies the stability, adapting itself to the height needed: the “flexible” distribution of the two axles allows the wheels to achieve a maximum traction and to make the most of the thrust. Therefore, the stretcher always offers an optimal stability and superb gear dynamics.

- The adoption of four wheels, of which two are pirouetting, boasts the intrinsic value of the Spencer chair, probably the most sold in the world.
- The footrest for the patient, normally inside the frame, is extracted with a simple kinematical mechanism.
- It is available with armrests and also in the smaller version (Spencer 456), used on aeroplanes, trains, buses, ships or more generally in narrow spaces.
- The Spencer 455/456 chair is supplied with two polypropylene 50 mm.

In the world of emergency care, it is of great importance to optimize stocking spaces and to satisfy all requests for ergonomically advanced rescue equipment.
Optimizing space and performance is the line Spencer drew on introducing the new Tango. A new design that brings together solidity, dynamics, space and performance and at the same time sets a new standard for high-performance spine boards.
Great performance and above all, great for its attention towards the patient; adults and child. An exclusive idea that allows two different profiles with one single product, reducing costs and stock volume.
